THE RIVERS

  • There are two rivers that make the fertile cresent.
  • The rivers are the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers.
  • The land in between the rivers is called Mesopatamia.
  • These rivers are used for irrigation.

AGRICULTURE

  • They use a system called irrigation to bring water to their crops.
  • Irrigation is where people dig little canals to water the plants.
  • They grew all types of plants for food.
  • Some examples are wheat and barly

LEVEES

  • Levees are a system of walls that keep water inside their banks
  • Incase of a flood levees block out water and protect the people

  • A drought is when a land gets no water for a long period of time
  • A drought kills most crops
  • In a drought most people cant use water
