WHAT IS A FIBONACCI SEQUENCE?

  • A Fibonacci sequence is when "each new number is the sum of the two numbers preceding it" (Grigas, "history").

A pine cone has a spiral pattern in which it has two spirals. One spiral goes upward while the other goes downward.

If you take the number of females and divide it by the number of males, you will usually get 1.618.

If you look at your hand, the sections (joint to joint) from the tip of your finger to wrist gets bigger until you get to your wrist.
