Metaphor

  • A metaphor is a compression in which one thing is said to be another.

Idiom

  • A Idiom is a phrases which do not make sense literally.
  • That poor guy is all washed up.

hyperbole

  • hyperbole is an exaggerated statement.
  • He cried so hard he made a lake.

personification

  • personification means giving human objects that are not human.
  • The choclate ice crweam cone is really tempting me.

  • An Onomatopoeia is a word that imitates  the sound that represents .
