ALLITERATION

  • Repetition of the initial letter or sound in more than one word on a line
  • Ex: "Peter" "Piper" "Picked" a "peck" of "pickled" "peppers"

RHYME

  • The reptition of sounds.
  • End rhyme is the last word on lines that rhyme
  • Ex: the snow glows white
  • on the mountain tonight
  • White and tonight rhyme
