Equipment
Two thick boots that are custom made with stiff leather and extra ankle bracing. Also sponge
paddings with a medal blade.

Figure skating is a graceful winter sport usually played on an indoor rink.

HOW TO PLAY
You glide over a smooth surface of ice, while doing many different spins, jumps, and other graceful moves.

Rules of figure skating
Figure skating in the Olympics is going to be scored by using the 6.0 ordinal system, which is all the technical elements attempted by the skater are worth a certain amount of points.

Did you know that in figure skating you can no longer do back flips in a competition because they really aren't a skating move.

Also you can't do a certain type of jump or a number of revolutions in the air if your not in the right level.

Each figure skating competition has its own rules, format and a way of deducting and adding points.
