FIGURE SKATING

RULES AND REGULATIONS

• For a single skater, you must have a mix of spins, jumps
• You must be synchronized for partner skating
• There is a max of three entries per country for each discipline
• The minimum age is 15, and it's used to be 12

EQUIPMENT

• Costumes
• Boot
• Blade
• Hollow
• Toe pick

LAWS OF MOTION

• Skater would keep moving until friction stopped them
• The larger the skater, the more force it would take to move
• The leg pushes down on ice, and the ice pushes back
• Gravity pulls skater down when they jump
• There is friction when the skates are on ice
