THE FIJI ISLANDS

3 places that you should visit while visiting Fiji are Nadi, Taveuni Island, and Rainbow Reef.

1.NADI, FIJI

Population: 918, 029

Nadi is located in the west coast of the island Viti Levu.
This attracts many tourists every year.

Nadi is known to have a very diverse community. While walking on Main Street you would hear Hindi music in almost every store front.

Indians make up almost 40% of it’s population.
Some food from the Indian culture could be found in Fiji.

Nadi also has an international airport.

It is actually found very small considering it is an international airport.

One general point of interest in Nadi is the Mud Pool. Mud actually soothes the skin.

The most famous tourist attraction is ziplining. It gets more than 600,000 visits per year.

2.TAVEUNI ISLAND

Population in Taveuni Island is 19,000 people.

Taveuni is the third-largest Island in Fiji. It is found in the east of Vanua Levu. You could easily find it knowing that is in a cigar shape.

The nickname of this island is “The Garden Island.” It is called this because there are not a lot of buildings and is mostly made up of forests.

One famous landmark found in this island is the Bouma National Heritage Park.

3.RAINBOW REEF

Home to 12,00 species of fish and 30 different type of coral

Rainbow Reef is found in the Southern area of Vanua Levu.

It is small considering it is home to many things.
Although, it is small it is a good sight to see.

Things you could do at Rainbow Reef is snorkel, kayak, scuba diving, and paddle board. The most common activity people would do is snorkel.
