Where is Fiji?

  • Fiji is a archipelago located in the South Pacific.
  • It contains 332 islands. The largest islands are Viti Levu and Vanua Leva.
  • Smaller islands are made of coral reefs which make them unsuitable to live on
  • Coordinates are approximately 18 00 S, 175 00 E

  • Cities in Fiji are Suva, Nadi, and Viti Leva
  • Fiji has plenty of beautiful beachs like Nananu-i-Ra and Tavarua
  • The Sri Siva Subramaniya Temple in Fiji is a Hindu temple.
  • Since the art included in the temple was made by Indian artist it reflects on Indian

  • Fiji has the total population of 905,949 people 51% Fijian, 44% Indian, and 5% of European and other
  • Out of the 332 island only 110 of them are inhabited by people
  • The majority of Fiji speak either English or Fijan
  • Fiji has a tradition known as the Lovo, it's a big feast cooked in the earth, it's kind of like a barbecue.
  • They cook large quantities of food. To make the food they need fire wood, some smooth surfaced stones, banana leaves, clean sacks, and shovels

  • Fijian water is known as the finest water in the world
  • They say it all begins as a cloud high above Fiji
  • First it's purified by equatorial trade winds and tropical rain falls
  • Second it's founded in a pristine rain Forrest surrounded by ancient dormant volcanoes
  • Thirdly it's slowly filtered by volcanic rock with minerals and electrolytes that creates its taste

  • Fiji has a lot of beautiful vacation spots like Blue Lagoon and Castaway Island
  • Blue lagoon is located in the Yaswa Islands
  • People visit Fiji for weddings, honeymoons, luxury vacations, and more
