What is the FDA

  • The trade body for theatrical film distributors in the UK
  • They were established in 1915
  • Responsable for promoting and distrobuting 98% of films in the UK
The Trade body is the company that releases films for UK Cinema audiences. They also are a founder member of all industry marketing for cinema. The FDA also are passionate advocate of distributors' pivotal role in the well-being of the whole film economy. Some of there members include Warner brothers, Universal, Walt Disney and Pathe.
