WHERE THEY ARE USED AND EFFCTS THEY HAVE.

ECU-EXTREME CLOSE UP

  • Focused close on things like the eye or mouth.
  • Used to show fear with silence.
  • Or so you can see sweat or tears.
  • Mascara advertisements
  • Showing emotion with out words.

CU CLOSE UP SHOT.

  • Shows the face.
  • Used in magazines for makeup ads
  • Shows talking or emotion and impact
  • Shows the person has seen something
  • Something may happen depending on emotion

MEDUIM/MID SHOT

  • Used when talking
  • Using hand gestures
  • Holding something,
  • Chest up
  • Gets a little of the background.

LS-LONG SHOT

  • Shows body
  • And part of backround
  • It places the person in relation to the surroundings
  • Not an overly detailed shot
