WHAT IF PV AND Pmt ARE KNOWN BUT i OR n ARE UNKNOWN?

  • When PV and Pmt are known, calculate TF first
  • TF= PV/ Pmt. If i is given, look for n that corresponds to the TF.
  • Similarly, if n is given, look for the i that corresponds to the TF.
  • Do the same when FV and Pmt are known
