Most are locked by combination, key, or keypad.
Fire safes protect firearms from most natural disasters.
Money safes are more protective against theft.

Always treat a gun as if it were loaded
Never touch the trigger until you are about to shoot
Keep the safety on
Don't point a gun at people or play with the gun even if it's unloaded
Don't fire if you don't know where other people are or if people are in front of you.
Unload it before storage.
Always point it in a safe direction when reloading.
