HEPATITIS A (HAV)

  • IS SPREAD BY EITHER DIRECT CONTACT WITH AN INFECTED PERSON'S FECES
  • Fever (symptom)
  • Dark urine (symptom)
  • Light stool (symptom)
  • Jaundice (symptom)

HEPATITIS B (HBV)

  • CAN BE SPREAD THROUGH BODY FLUIDS, URINE AND FROM MOTHER TO A INFANT
  • Abdominal pain (symptom)
  • Joint pain (symptom)
  • Nausea (symptom)
  • Vomiting (symptom) Etc.

HEPATITIS C (HCV)

  • IS SPREAD BY EXPOSURE TO CONTAMINATED BLOOD OR NEEDLES
  • Itching(symptom)
  • Swelling of the liver
  • Loss of appetite
  • Some do not have symptoms

HEPATITIS D (HDV) /DELTA VIRUS

  • Its spread through contact with infected blood or other bodily fluids.
  • HDV is uncommon in the US
  • You can infect others before your symptoms appear
  • There's no cure for HDV
  • Very contagious

HEPATITIS F

  • Transmitted through contaminated food or water
  • 20% of the cases is fatal
  • Fever (symptom)
  • Loss of appetite (symptom)
  • Dark urine (symptom) etc
