THE HISTORY

• Five Guys was originally founded by Janie and Jerry Murrel in1986 in Arlington County Virginia
• For the first 15 years of the Five Guys existence only 5 restaurants were made
• In 2002 Five Guys begins to franchise in Virginia and Maryland
• A year later the Five Guys begins opening restaurants all around the world
• Today there are over 1,000 Five Guys Restaurants in 47 US states and 6 Canadian provinces
