• Purification of wealth
• Provides for public fountains and inns
• Pays for orphanages, hospitals, and schools

Siyam

Siyam

• From daybreak to sunset
• Teaches self-control
• The sick, elderly, young, or pregnant do not need to
• Break fast with dates
• Attend services each night

Hajj

Hajj

• Change into white clothing
• Walk seven times around the Ka'bah
• Run between two hills
• Drink water from the Zamzam
• Pray at Mount Arafat
