HMMM....

WILL LEMON JUICE STOP FLOWERS FROM WILTING?

If flowers are put in a vase with water and lemon juice, then the flowers will not wilt because lemon juice will give the flowers vitamins.

Analysis
Some flowers completely bent over on Days 6&7. All the flowers curled at the edges on days 2-7. I was surprised that the flowers didn't change more. The lemon juice did not do anything or possibly made the flowers worse.

Conclusion
The hypothesis was that if flowers are put in a vase with water and lemon juice, then the flowers will not wilt because lemon juice will give the flowers vitamins. The results did not support the hypothesis because both the flowers in the lemon juice completely bent over, while only one did in the water. Also, the other in the water was the most healthy. I would probably change the expirament by adding a different citrus, e.g. orange, grapefruit, or lime juice.
