We have asked all students which Tablet they own.

From this small sample it appears that it is split 50/50 between IOS and Android, the use of Kindle Fire is interesting to see what apps may work on the device.

There are many apps for editing word documents etc.. including Office 365, Pages, Quick Office and others.

Please use Eduroam on campus to gain access to wireless systems. The details on how to access are on the Itservices website.

Notibility and Evernote seem to score highly with students and staff.

I do suggest iFiles app for file management on IOS devices. On Android devices I do not have a suggested app at the moment.

We are intending to run some student led workshops next semester where the students will present a app and how they use it.

We intend to give students gift cards to allow them to purchase and try out apps that could be recommended to other students
