JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • They hire in hospitals, offices, and some go to clients houses
  • OT's make treatment plans to help patients on daily activities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Treat injured, ill, or disabled patients therapeutically through everyday activities
  • Help these patients recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living
  • Educate a patient’s family and employer about how to accommodate and care for the patient

PREVIOUS SCHOOL WORK

  • You must have a masters degree in occupation therapy
  • Patient care and any health class would be beneficial to this career
