PRESENTATION OUTLINE

FORCE AND MOTION IN SOCCER

GRAVITY

GRAVITY IS PUTTING A FORCE ON THE BALL AND PULLING IT TOWARDS THE CENTER OF THE EARTH
It is pulling the ball back to Earth which is a gravitational force.

FRICTION

FRICTION SLOWS THE BALL DOWN
Friction slows the ball down. This is an example of Newton's first law because the soccer ball will not slow down unless it it's acted upon by an outside force. In this case the grass is the outside force.

NEWTONS LAWS IN SOCCER

EACH LAW IS COVERED IN SOCCER
His first law which is about inertia is in soccer because the ball sitting in the picture does not want to move. It wants to sit there and it will until acted upon by a outside force. His third law in found in soccer because the soccer ball is putting the same amount of force back on you when you kick it.
