area with thick plants and shrub bogs

SAND RIDGE

a high dry and sandy area with desert like plants

BIVALVE

a mollusk with a duo of hinged shells

UNIVALVE

a mollusk with a single spiraled shell

SUBTIDAL ZONE

the shoreline below the high tide always wet!

INTERTIDAL ZONE

the place between low and high tidelines
