BROWN HAZE

  • The brown haze can effect rain fall patterns.
  • Can damage crops and decrease crop harvests.
  • Can cause asthma in people and cause people to have more attacks.
  • Can increase respiratory problems and infections.

ACID RAIN

  • Can ruin soil by makeing it acidic.
  • Kills and damages plant by burning them.
  • Weathers buildings quicker than normal.
  • Acid rain causes aluminum to be released from the ground.
  • Aluminum is toxic to most organisms injuring or killing many of them.

GREENHOUSE EFFECT

  • Greenhouse gases cause the earth to heat up.
  • This increase in temperature can change climates.
  • This could kill some organisms in certain climates.
  • Like if all the ice melts in the north pole polar bears could go extinct.

HEAVY METAL

  • Heavy metal pollution is a serious problem that is harmful to us.
  • Many heavy metals like lead and nickel can cause borth defects.
  • Many heavy metals can cause cancer or neurological problems.
  • They can also cause many respiratory problems like asthma or worse.

WATER CONTAMINATION

  • Water contamination from mining can change and destroy a ecosystem.
  • The contaminents that get into water vary from dirt and minerals to oil and deadly chemicals.
  • This water contamination can have harsh effects on the ecosystems exposed like killing plant.
  • It can also kill the fish and reptiles any animal that relies on the ecosystem to survive.
  • It can even harm us by drinking the contaminated water or eating organism that are exposed.
