Four Franchising Trends to Jump on in 2016
Are you approaching retirement or looking for a way out of the corporate grind? Are you sensing that it’s time to be your own boss? Chances are you’ve accumulated the knowledge and experience to open your own ice cream franchise, but you’re not quite sure where to start.
If this describes you, there’s no better time than now to take control of your destiny with a franchise opportunity. Here are four ice cream franchise trends to jump on in 2016:
Topics of Discussion
- The Food Court Franchising Trends
- Service-Oriented Franchises
- Franchise Growth Trends
- The Ice Cream Franchise Trend
1. Malls will never go out of style. Hungry teens continue to flock to and congregate in malls across the country. Their appetite for fast food hasn’t waned, and their desire for tasty tidbits that they can eat on the go hasn’t stopped, either.
Fast food and food court franchises are in a serious upward trend in 2016. If you want to get in on this exploding niche market, you have a smorgasbord of options to choose from, including soft pretzels, Chinese food, wraps, cinnamon buns, and more. You’ll never have your customers leaving the counter hungry when you invest in food court franchising trends.
2. 2016 is slated to be a big year for service-oriented franchises. These are franchises where you’re selling a service versus a product. These are hot for a variety of reasons, including the ability to sell on a subscription basis instead of a one-time payment.
Subscription-based fees give the ice cream franchise owner the satisfaction of knowing that the payments are recurring and can be relied on. It also takes the burden off the franchise owner to earn new business again and again. Service-oriented franchises include accounting services, insurance services, commercial cleaning services, and repair and maintenance services.
3. One of the most promising trends that is still going strong in 2016 is ice cream franchise companies offering competitive incentives to potential franchisees. As we seek to enter new and emerging markets, we’re ready to offer competitive incentives to help our franchise owners expand into new markets as well as help new owners open up their first market.
