Class_Mammal
Mammals are warm-blooded animals with some kind of fur/hair. They give birth to immature youth.

Order_Carnivora
Carnivora is an order of placental mammals with around 270 species of animals. Unlike what the names seems to say, this order includes animals that don't eat meat.

Family_Canidae
Canids tend to be on the omnivorous side, rather than carnivorous. They usually have long muzzles, deep-chested bodies & elongated legs and paws.

Genus_vulpes
The members of Vulpes are referred to as true foxes, meaning they form one line of ancestors. The word ‘fox’ is the common names of the species. True foxes are linked with dogs, wolves, coyotes, and jackals. They have a smaller size and flatter skulls, with They have black, triangular markings between their eyes and nose, at the tips of their tails are a different color from the rest of their pelts. The typical life span for this genus is between 2–4 years, but can live up to a decade(10 years)

Arctic Fox
Scientific name: Vulpes Lagopus
Habitat- Cold, arctic regions in the northern hemisphere
Diet- Omnivore(rodents, birds, fish(sometimes), leftovers/carrion(from polar bears), eggs, seal pups & vegetables(if available))
Behaviour- traveling from place to place for food, a group in summer is usually made up of one Dog(male), two Vixens(females) and kits.

Physical Features/Facial Features- furry soles, brush(tail) helps keep warm in winter and helps with balance, short ears and short muzzle(all-important adaptations to the cold climate)
Life span(in wild)- On average 3 to 10 years
Size- Head and body, 46-68 cm. Tail, 35 cm
Weight- 3 to 8 kg
Offspring- Vixens give birth to a litter up to 14 pups each Spring
Group name- Skulk or Leash
Fur- the foxes fur changes with the season, in winter it's a crisp snowy white or blue-grey while in summer it's a dull grey or brown

Fennec fox
Scientific name: Vulpes Zerda
Habitat- The Sahara Desert and elsewhere in North Africa
Diet- Omnivore(They forage for plants, rodents, eggs, reptiles and insects. Also can go for long periods of time without water)
Behaviour- Nocturnal, usually very social having groups of 10 foxes.

Physical Features/Facial Features- large bat-like ears that radiate body-heat, furry soles that act like snow-shoes.
Life span- Up to a decade
Size- head to body, 24 to 41 cm. tail, 18 to 31 cm. ears 15 cm.
Weight- 1 to 1.5 kg
Offspring- 2-6 kits
Group name- Skulk or Leash
Fur- long, thick cream-coloured fur that helps keep them warm on cold nights and protects them from the sun during the day. Also has a black-tipped tail

Red fox
Scientific name- Vulpes vulpes
Habitat- forests, grasslands, mountains, deserts & human environments.
Diet- Omnivore(rodents, rabbits, birds, small game, fish & garbage)
Behaviour- Mostly Nocturnal, There's a strict dominance hierarchy in groups.

Physical Features/Facial Features- Almost like a mix between a dog and a cat, has a dog-like face with a skinny muzzle and legs.
Life span- 3 to 10 years
Size- Head and body, 46 to 86 cm. Tail, 30.5 to 55.5 cm
Weight- 3 to 11 kg
Offspring- a litter of 2 to 12 pups
Group name- Skulk or Leash
Fur-At birth brown or gray. A red/Gold/Reddish-Brown or Black coat usually grows in by the end of the first month.
