FRANCE GOVERNMENT,ECONOMY, ANS HISTORY

  • France government is a parliamentary democracy. In France the executive branch consists of a prime minister and a president.
  • After WWII France worked hard to modernize its economy. Now it is one of the world's strongest. Much of tourism is from the Eiffel Tower
  • French History revolutionaries in 1792 decided to make France a democracy. In 1815 they returned to a monarchy. In 1848 they returned to a democracy.

FRANCE CULTURE

  • French citizens have a very strong cultural identity. They take pride in living in France. Three out of four people live in cities. France is highly urbanized with more apartments than houses.
