Salamanca,Spain 1510- September 22,1554
Francisco heard about rumored treasure to exist. He traveled to New Spain in 1535. Mexico cities and Southwestern US in 1540-1542.

His expedition only found Zūni,Hopi,Pueblos and Native Americans who repelled Francisco when he demanded they convert to Christianity.

Francisco had killed many Native Americans during his expedition.

In 1540 he battled against the Pueblos Indians and Coronado was wounded. He heard new city with fabulous gold called Quivira and leaves April 23,1541.

He did not accomplish what he wanted. Although he didn't,he discovers Great Plains of Kansas and Grand Canyon on his journey home. No more expeditions and he dies September 22,1554.

Francisco was not successful. He failed looking for what he wanted during that time. He didn't really benefit the world. He didn't accomplish anything big.
