CHALLENGES FACED
- Many of the challenges came late in the
- Expedition. Many of his soldiers were sent
- Home or disbanded from his crew.
- He greatly injured himself when he fell of
- His horse.

RISK-TAKING
- One of the biggest risks was
- Not having enough supplies and
- Not enough soldiers. But the biggest
- Was the land he discovered had no map routes
- He had to learn the new land from natives.
RESULTS FROM EXPLORATION
- Francisco Vasquez did not find the
- 7 cities of gold.
- But he was one of the first explorers
- To reach America. Bankruptcy.
- First man to see the Grand Canyon.
