Biography
TRAMBAUER was noticed by bix Beiderbecke while playing in Chicago's Benson orchestra, and was quickly recruited to join the legendary cornetist In jean goldkette's orchestra. Not long after being recruited, he worked his way up to the musical director. Trumbauer was reunited with goldkette in 1927 when he joined Paul whiteman's orchestra, where he remained until 1932. He returned in 1933 after his time off and stayed until 1936, and then left to take command of the three t's. In 1938, he moved on to co-lead a band with Mandy cline. During World War Two, he was assigned to the aeronautics authority, but he still continued to pursue music in his past time with Russ cass in New York.
