F.R.E.E.

• Fall on your knees:
• Our fallen nature that began in Genesis 3 brought separation with God and eternal destruction. The only way we can be saved from that is through first repenting of our sin and turning to God. -Acts 3:19

F.R.E.E.

• RECEIVE:
• In His marvelous love, Christ made a way for us to be restored. After confessing our sin, we can receive His beautiful gift of grace and enter into restored relationship with our Father.
• -Titus 3:4-7

F.R.E.E.

• Engage: Now, we have the opportunity to engage in the process of freedom (i.e. sanctification) with God and with one another. -1 Tim 6:11-12

F.R.E.E.

• Enjoy: We are free to enjoy Christ and all that He has for us as His children. -John 10:10

Freedom FROM

1. Satan

• -Ephesians 6:12 - We do not wrestle against flesh and blood. -John 10:10 - satan's goal is to kill you.
• Know who you are fighting against. Recognize His lies and tactics.
• -Ephesians 6:10-18 - Know the truth so you can weed out the lies.
• -John 3:8 - No need to fear, for Satan is already defeated.

2. The FLesh

• -Sin: to miss the mark (Rom 3:23) includes: Sinful patterns and habits, addictions, destructive thoughts etc. -Jeremiah 17:9 - The heart is deceitful. Who can know it? -Gal 5:19-20 - the works of the flesh: sexual immorality, impurity, idolatry... enmity, strife, jealousy, divisions.
• -Romans 6:17-18 - All are slaves to sin before Christ.

3. The world

• We are made for another world. -Called out of the darkness into the light. Col 1:13
• -Called to stop loving the world. 1 John 2:15
• -Called to deny ourselves and lose our life. Matt 16:24-25
