Many Japanese family's moved to America for a better life and more freedom.
THE JAPANESE HELPED OUR SOCIETY
- They were excellent farmer and fisherman.
- They made business's that helped people
- They made America a more lively place
However when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor the U.S. Government moved 120,000 Japanese in America to interment camps across the country's.
Many Japanese were killed while in these camps, two examples of this is a young boy and a hearing impaired old man.
A seven year old boy was shot and killed while retrieving his toy ball from across the fence.
An hearing impaired old man befriended a stray dog and afterwards the dog crossed the fence and the old man was shot to death trying to retrieve the dog!
The wrongness of the interment camps were finally realized and the Japanese got citizenship in 1988 many year after the war between Japan ended.
