French Gel Manicure

- prep nails as described in my previous project, Nail Prep
- Be sure that your nails are clean and dry before beginning
Bond aid
OPI ph balancing agent > Bond aid
Apply
Apply Bond-Aid like a base coat. Don't worry if you get it on your skin.

And Again...
Then put some on the underside or your nails as well.
basecoat
gelcolor byOPI > Base Coat
Apply
Apply base coat just like a regular base polish (cap free edge)
Cure
Place nails in UV nail light to cure
Cure for 90 seconds
French base colour
gelcolor byOPI > Pedal Faster Suzi!!
Apply
Apply perfered base colour as you would a normal polish. Cap free edge
Cure
Place nails in UV nail light to cure
Cure for 2 minutes (120 seconds)
French White Colour
Gel Polish by FingerPaints > Stay True To The Art
Applying french tips
Swipe polish brush sideways to cover one corner of the free edge
it should look like this
Do the same to the other Corner
Now both corners should be covered to look like this
next paint the missing middle section
Drag the brush carefully sideways over the middle > Should look like this
Lastly...
Cap the free edge of your nail to seal french design
cure
Place nails in UV nail light to cure
cure for 2 minutes (120 seconds)
topcoat
gelcolor byOPI > Top Coat
Apply topcoat
Apply like a normal topcoat. Be extra careful not to touch any skin.
flip to underside of nails
Apply small amount of topcoat on underside of nail to seal in. Cap edge
cure
Place nails in UV nail light to cure
Cure for 3 minutes (180 seconds)
I did 90 seconds twice
gel nail cleanser
nas99 byOPI
Spray nas99 onto all nails
You may also spray it onto a lint free pad instead. This removes tack
Wipe down all nail with lint-free pad
Rub down until nails do not feel sticky at all
The result
A beautiful, glossy, french gel manicure!
And your finished!!
