STORMING OF THE BASTILLE

It was a part of a municipal revolt that overturned governing bodies in France.

August 26, 1789
The declaration of the rights of man

It was the first time the National Assembly wrote the rights they wanted.

OCTOBER 5-6,1789
The women's March on Versailles

It returned the king to Paris when he tried to leave France.

Fall of 1792
September Massacres

Over a thousand counterrevolution armies were killed. The revolution starts to turn violent.

January 2, 1793

The National Assembly gained power. There is not a rule for France anymore.

There was no longer a monarch and France had no ruler.

July 1793-July 1794

There was a increase of violence in the revolution.
