  • August 27th, 1789
  • Gave people rights and freedom
  • Similar to the Declaration of Independence

THE WOMANS MARCH ON VERILLES

  • October 1789
  • 6,000 partisan woman rioting over rising the price of bread.
  • Killed 2 gaurds

SEPTEMBER MASSACRES

  • September 2nd-6th, 1792
  • Everyone was fearful of prisoners plotting to kill
  • At least 2 guards were killed

EXECUTION OF KING LOUIS XVI

  • Found guilty of treason
  • Beheaded by guillotine
  • Mobs had the most power
  • January 21st,1793
