  • Location: ponds, lakes, and rivers
  • Description: fresh water marshes are usually low-lying open areas
  • Precipitation: depends on the region the biome is in
  • Temperature range: 65-75 degrees F in summer. 35-45 degrees F in winter
  • Climate: wetland
