Planting of the church at Ephesus. Paul’s first and hurried visit for the space of three months to Ephesus is recorded in Acts 18:19–21. (second missionary journey)

The work he began on this occasion was carried forward by Apollos (24–26) and Aquila and Priscilla. On his second visit,

(third missionary journey)
early in the following year, he remained at Ephesus “three years,” for he found it was the key to the western provinces of Asia Minor. Here “a great door and effectual” was opened to him (1 Cor. 16:9), and the church was established and strengthened by his assiduous labors there (Acts 20:20, 31).

From Ephesus as a centre the gospel spread abroad “almost throughout all Asia” (19:26). The word “mightily grew and prevailed” despite all the opposition and persecution he encountered.

Where he said his farewells in Acts 20:13-38.spend some time here……..

Letter of encouragement to the “saints” first missionary journey stayed three months and the second missionary
journey stayed three years and saw it as a gateway for ministry in that area….

Delivered by Tychicus 6:21-22

NLT says brothers and sisters, which is a reflection of the text's intent

Love of God -

the glue that bonds the family of God together

to be so moved with compassion for someone that you are compelled to act on their behalf before they even ask.....and often at great sacrifice to yourself

a statement of hope that we all would experience this sacrificial love in our lives

Faithfulness - Paul's statement of hope for the Ephesian Christians that God would give them the ability to love Him, one another, and be able to trust God with all areas of their lives

a trust that stems from faith in the Lord

Grace of God -

often used in the context of salvation, and Paul knows it is one of the things that ties us all together.....

Read John 8:1-11

Let him who without the need for grace cast the first stone...

Eternal Attitude -

something that doesn't breakdown
