FROG AND HUMAN ORGANS

BY: NATHANIELLE HUGHES

THE HUMAN SKIN
The human skin is smooth, hairy, and, at times, soft. It comes in different shades of white and brown. The skin can be moist, greasy, or dry.

FROG SKIN
Frog skin is smooth and moist. It needs constant moisture in order for the frog to survive. A frog's skin can come in many different colors.

HUMAN MUSCLES
Human muscles come in many forms. There are skeletal muscles, smooth muscles, and cardiovascular muscles. The cardiovascular muscle is the heart. The skeletal muscles are the ones connected to bones. The smooth muscles are the other remaining muscles.

FROG MUSCLES
Frog muscles also come in skeletal, smooth, and cardiovascular forms, but they are more similar to the muscle of a chicken. Their muscles, unlike human muscles, are made of white meat.

HUMAN HEART
The human heart pumps oxygenated blood to all parts of the body. It also brings deoxygenated blood to the lungs to be re-oxygenated.

FROG HEART
The frog heart is fairly smaller than the human heart because of the frog' size. Unlike the human heart, the frog heart has two atria and one ventricle.

HUMAN LUNGS
The lungs bring oxygen into the body and puts it into the blood to be delivered. It then takes the carbon dioxide out of the blood and releases it from the body.

FROG LUNGS
Just like the human lungs, frog lungs bring in oxygen to deliver to the body through the blood and they remove the carbon dioxide from the blood and the body.

HUMAN LIVER
The liver filters the blood from the digestive tract before passing it to the rest of the body and makes protein needed for many bodily functions. It also processes digested food and creates bile.

FROG LIVER
Like the human liver, the frog liver filters the blood and creates proteins. It also processes digested food and creates bile

HUMAN STOMACH
The human stomach holds the food that has been eaten. It also creates an acid that helps break the food into smaller particles.

FROG STOMACH
The frog stomach, much like the human stomach, holds eaten food and digests it with stomach acid.
