EGG

  • Many eggs are laid
  • After 7-9 days tadpoles are released into stream

TADPOLES

  • After hatching, it feeds on yolk of egg
  • Poorly developed gills, along with mouth and tail (very fragile)
  • After 9 weeks it grows legs

  • After 12 weeks it has a tiny tail stub left
  • It will soon leave the water
