HABITAT
Madagascar is the only place that the aye-aye live.
The aye-ayes nickname is king of the treetops.
An aye-aye can adapt to any habitat very, very fast.
In Madagascar, aye-ayes are considered bad luck.
An aye-aye will create more then five nests in it's territory at a time.
An aye-aye's tail is 2 times as large as its body.
While the aye-aye is a type of lemur, it has claws like a sloth, a face like a weasel, a body like a monkey, and incisors like a rodent.

The aye-aye is the strangest looking primate.
An aye-aye's tail can grow to be three feet long.
Aye-ayes have huge ears that look like large cones on their head.

BABY AYE-AYES
A baby aye-aye is born with a white stripe down it's back.
All baby aye-ayes are born hairless.
A baby will stay with it's mother for two whole years before even starting to grow away from her.

For the first seven months of it's youth, the baby will only drink milk.
Baby's are only five inches long at birth.

MATING AND GIVING BIRTH
Males will kill each other to get females.
A female only gives birth to only 1 baby every two to three years.
The males never help to take care of the young.
A female aye-aye will only give birth to 8 baby's in its entire lifetime.
The aye-aye does not have a specific time to mate, it can reproduce throughout the whole year.

DIET
An aye-aye can hear any prey fifty football feilds away.
An aye-aye is nocturnal, so the aye-aye is very, very good at stealing bird eggs.
An aye-aye can tap it's finger on a branch to hear and see if there is any bugs in that branch.
Aye-ayes have been known to love sugar cane.
