  • Secrete enzymes that digest nutrients
  • Decomposition
  • Eats dead leaves and dead animals

STRUCTURE

  • Main body- hyphae
  • Many hyphae intertwine
  • This creates the web called the mycelium

REPRODUCTION

  • Both sexually and asexually
  • Asexually-most common
  • Asexual- fungi makes little copies of itself
  • Sexual- male and female produce spores

EXAMPLES OF FUNGI

  • Yeast infection
  • Athlete's foot
  • Ring worms
