CHARACTERISTICS OF A FUNGI

• They can use enzymes to break down plant matter and absorb nutrients,
• Or they can be parasites- taking nutrients from a living host.
• There are 4 kinds: Chytrids, Zygomycetes, Ascomycetes, and Basidiomycetes.
• They cannot preform photosynthesis.
• Produce spores, not seeds.

THINGS THAT THEY'RE NOT:

• Fungi are not plants.
• They do not produce seeds.
• And they do not have leaves!
