how are fungi classified into their different phylum?

  • it all depends on their size, dna, life cycles, and cell structure

Different Kinds of phylums

  • Ascomycetes
  • Basidiomycota
  • Chytrids

zygomycetes

  • any filamentous fungus of the pylum zygomyetes
  • most commonly known zygoycetes to us are......
  • bread mold
  • strawberry mold
  • this type of zygomycete is just mold

zygomycetes

  • the 2 common characteristics of moldy bread and strawberries are
  • the are both types of fungus, and the both reproduce asexually.
  • also it takes varry little for them to grow.
  • this zygomycete is gamsiella

Ascomycetes

  • class of higher fungi distinguished by seperate hyphae
  • both of these are the largest phylum of the fungi
  • this one is a truffle

ascomycetes

  • characteristics that thes both share are......
  •  they both asexually produce, and they both are the largest in the phlum
  • this is an earthtongue

basidiomycota

  • its named after the basidum a reproductive cell
  • it has a fruiting body
  • it also has gills on most of its fungi

basidiomycota

  • shelf fungi and the puffball fungi are 2 types of bd

  • they both have basida
