HOW DO FUNGI OBTAIN FOOD?

• Fungi eat other organisms to obtain energy.
• They eat by using Enzymes to eat what they are
• Attached to. For example, trees and other plants.

STRUCTURE OF FUNGI

• Fungi contain Chitin, Glucan, and Ergosterol
• Chitin is found in the exoskeleton as well as the cell wall.
• Glucan is a form of Glucose.
• Ergosterol is the fuctional equivalent of cholesterol.
• These are only few of the parts of the structure of Fungi.

REPRODUCTION

• Fungi can reproduce sexually and asexually.
• The most common is sexual reproduction.
• In sexual reproduction the male and female cells fuse,
• To produce spores inside a fruiting body.
