OBTAIN FOOD

  • They eat dead leaves and dead animals.
  • Some have to depend on other plants for food.

STRUCTURE OF FUNGUS

  • In most fungi cells are haploid.
  • Long threads that go up and down are hyphae.
  • Those hyphae that bundle up are called mycelium.

REPRODUCTION

  • The sexual state of a fungus is teleomorph.
  • The asexual is anamorph.
  • Sexual- plasmogamy
  • Asexual-binary fission, budding, and fragmentation
