Contrasts and Contradictions
The biggest contrast and contradiction moment in the story would have to be Tamaya and making choices. This is really big because her friends call her a goody two shoes but later on in the story we find out that she'll do any thing to help anyone. Even break the school rules. She usually follows the school rules. She doesn't always follow the rules when it comes to helping people. By being brave and going into the forest to look for Chad she's showing virtue which is being a good person even if it's against the rules to go into the forest. This is really surprising that she did this because she is such a good person and usually follows rules and one of the rules is not to go in the forest.

Again and Again
One again again moment would have to be virtue and valor. This is Tamaya, Chad and Marshalls school motto. Throughout the story Marshall is trying to show virtue and valor but he doesn't quite show it until the end of the story. At the end he does this by going back into the forest and looking for Tamaya and Chad. Tamaya shows virtue and valor throughout the story she shows virtue more than anything because she went into the forest and saves Chad. She also shows valor because she was afraid to go into the forest at first but in the end she does go through forest. Chad shows virtue and valor only at the end. He is a mean and lying bully at the beginning. At the end of the story Chad helped Tamaya get out of the fuzzy mud and we get a feel for more of his character.

Memory Moment
One memory moment would have to be when Chad threatened to beat Marshall up. This is important because it determines the whole fate of the story. This happens because Chad thought that Marshall had disagreed with him. It made Marshall find a new way home so he would not get beat up on the way home. This is why they went through the forest. This is important because if they didn't go through the forest they never would have found the fuzzy mud.

Aha Moment
An Aha moment would have to be when the doctor had found the cure for the Fuzzy Mud rash. This is important because if he did not find out that his turtle was immune to fuzzy mud he would've never had found the cure at all. The doctor finds this out by seeing his turtle walk through a patch of Fuzzy Mud, he waits for days for the turtle show symptoms but the turtle never shows symptoms. Then he finds out that turtle enzymes are immune to the Fuzzy Mud. This is important because if he never found the cure Tamaya, Marshall and Chad would have died.

Tough question
Both Tamaya and Marshall have inner struggles. Tamayas inner struggle is she wants to know why being good is bad to her friends all of a sudden.Tamaya is just trying to figure this out on why her friends hate her for being a good person. Even though their school has a motto saying "virtue and valor". Marshall's inner struggle is why didn't he stick up for himself against Chad the Bully. Being brave is Marshall's struggle.

Words of the Wiser
Words of the wiser would have to be when the senator at the end of the story said to Tamaya that she had to make a Hobson's choice. Hobsons choice is when you have to choose between two bad options with different effects. The two bad options were Tamaya going through the forest with Marshall which she wasn't suppose to do or Tamaya going the same way home without Marshall which she wasn't suppose to do. Tamaya chose to go in the forest and she discover the fuzzy mud. The senator agreed with that going through the forest was the best option. By doing that she saved the world from an epidemic of the fuzzy mud rash.
