- M106 is also known as, NGC 4258
- M106 is a spiral galaxy
- It is in the constellation Canes Venatici
- It is about 25 light years away from the Milky Way
- Has more than 400 billion stars

M106 two unusual arms:
M106 has two extra arms which glow in x-Ray, optical and radio light. They are not aligned with the plane of the galaxy, but they intersect with it.
