  • M106 is a spiral galaxy
  • It is in the constellation Canes Venatici
  • It is about 25 light years away from the Milky Way
  • Has more than 400 billion stars

M106 two unusual arms:
M106 has two extra arms which glow in x-Ray, optical and radio light. They are not aligned with the plane of the galaxy, but they intersect with it.
