WELCOME TO THE GALAPAGOS ISLANDS WHERE YOU CAN SEE SEA LIONS.

SOME ANIMALS

  • Blue footed booby is one of the animals.
  • Another one is the Galapagos Tortoise which as you can see is in the background staring at you.
  • An animal that everyone knows as the iguana can be found on the Galápagos Islands.
  • The Galápagos Tortoise is the largest living species of tortoise weighing up to 919 lbs!!!!!!
  • Another animal you may see here is a sea lion( Telling you now that sea lions are not swimming lions).

POPULATION

THE POPULATION STANDS A LITTLE OVER 25,000.

FOODS
Some people eat fish soup
and shrimp marinated in lemons and onions but the more famous food people eat here is the sea cucumber.

  • The temperature here stays at a high of 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • The temperature is at a low of 70 Fahrenheit.

  • Their main language is Spanish.
  • They also speak Amazonian in other areas.

  • There are at least 825 different introduced species of vegetation on these islands.

THE GALAPAGOS ISLANDS ARE LOCATED EAST OF SOUTH AMERICA.

  • The Galápagos Islands are a small part of Ecuador.

  • Some of the Galápagos Islands have active volcanoes on them.
  • There are about 59 islands and 13 of them are the major islands.
