RELIGIOUS, NONVIOLENT, AND INSPIRATIONAL

Religious
Gandhi had many fasts and practiced his religion.

Gandhi was religious. He was religious by leading his people to have many fasts. This had made people feel bad for him seeing him in this pain.

INSPIRATIONAL

GANDHI LEAD MANY PROTESTS AND STARTED THE CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT.

For example, Gandhi did a nonviolent salt March since Gandhi was against the British rule. He also did this because of the British monopoly on salt.

NONVIOLENT

GANDHI WAS NONVIOLENT BECAUSE HE PROTESTED IN A NONVIOLENT WAY.

Gandhi struggled to get and gain independence from Britain. Because of the monopoly on salt in Britain Gandhi started a nonviolent protest which was called the "Salt March".
