  • Meter stick or yard stick
  • Graph paper
  • Kite string
  • Painters tape
  • Markers

ACTIVITY

  • Groups of 2-3 students
  • Measure length and width of garden bed
  • Cut string to fit across the length and width (axes)
  • Use tape to mark the numbers on the axes
  • Plot 3 plants on graph paper
