Start Small

Almost all vegetables and flowers need at least 6 hours of sun per day

After you clear the area add 2-3 inches of compost, dried leaves, or manure to the soil

An easier method is to buy young plants, dig a hole, and drop them in the ground

WATER!

Young Seedlings should never dry out

Mulch
To help keep water in and weeds out, apply mulch around your plants

Keep it up! Remember to always water, remove weeds, and fertilize halfway through the season.
