Gary loved spending time with his grandma, and he kinda had to. His parents were not very good parents his parents were sometimes abusive, he spends most times with his grandmother when things went bad.

He had hard times at school like with friends.
He hide in the basement reading books when his parents were being unsteady, and his grandma wasn’t home.
