• Gaston Early College has several clubs to offer students. - Interact, Art, SGA, Fitness, Robotics, Coding, Rachel's Challenge, and Performing Arts.

Privileges

• Privilege is given to the Juniors and Seniors that maintain a C average and have fewer than 3 absences

Flex Friday

• Consists of enrichment/volunteering, field trips (sometimes), focus Friday, academic hour, & clubs

Volunteering

• Freshmen: volunteer at elementary schools Sophomores: volunteer at senior retirement home and Keep Gastonia Beautiful Juniors: Volunteer at Keep Gastonia Beautiful, Holy Angels, Habitat for Humanity Seniors- YMCA,Special education schools, and Peak Resources

Morp

• MORP is a casual dance that we have in the fall to allow some people that don't want to pay a lot of money or dress up for prom to attend a dance. Each year the dance has a different theme. Takes place on the last day of Spirit Week.

Prom

• A formal dance held in the spring.
• Everyone is welcomed to attend.
• Each year the dance has a different theme.
• Takes place in April.
